I was putting on my shoes/socks for work when this conversation began:

Sammy - Mommy, is it church day today?

Mommy- No, it's Thursday, I'm getting ready for work.

Sammy-then why are you putting on long socks?

Mommy- Oh, these are knee-highs; I wear them with my work pants.
